Siena 1-4 Ac Milan

April, 29 2012 - 35th Serie A matchday:

26’ Cassano (M)
29’ Ibrahimovic (M)
83’ Bogdani (S)
90’ Nocerino (M)
94’ Ibrahimovic (M)

Cassano played 90 minutes: he delivered two assists and scored one goal.

Nocerino, kissing the Ac Mlan badge. His strong lonely play was crowned by his 10th personal goal of the season.

Despite the score, that was everything but an easy game.
The recent Ac Milan without ideas was fielded, and the ball (owned mostly by Rossoneri) occasionally was delivered to forwards.
But considering Cassano and Ibrahimovic were waiting for, they maximized the result: they transformed in goal two (of the three?) attempts they had in first half.
The always good Sannino lineed-up a perfect anti-tired-Milan, so Allegri’s midfielders were more likely to pass back to keeper or defenders.

When Bogdani scored the 1-2, Siena players didn’t mount the pressure that probably would have led the poor Ac Milan defence to make a mistake, so Ac Milan kept playing their tactics, and having Cassano as a playmaker, forwards had more chances to score against an already tired and distracted squad.

After the Scudetto gifted to Bianconeri by Allegri we have the even more sad constatation that Cassano could have been our league winner, hiding embarassing vacuity of a mediocre coach.

Ibrahimovich after scoring his 26th league goal. He’s the leader of striker chart.

Check out goals below: the only positive notes for the starting point of the next season.
