Coppa Italia: Juve 2-2 Ac Milan

March, 20 2012 second leg of Coppa Italia semifinal: (4-3 on aggregate)

28’ Del Piero (J)
51’ Mesbah (M)
81’ Maxi Lopez (M)
96’ (extra time) Vucinic (J)

Mesbah could not believe he scored a goal. Yesterday he made a lot of mistakes.

Maxi Lopez celebrates his goals with Seedorf and Inzaghi. that goal meant extra time.

I decided that should be the reconciliation game between two of the clubs that have made calcio history.
A really enjoyable match took place, and the most beautiful thing was fairplay, before, during and also after the game.
Rossoneri chose the right way to honour the match even if they will face Roma on Saturday and Barcelona just after four days.
Ibrahimovic had played with the temperature for an half and Maxi Lopez substituted him in the second one.
Del Piero scored his goal due to an asleep defence, but Mesbah and Maxi Lopez scored two for the tie, unbelievable considering that Ibrahimovic out could have been a give up segnal of coach Allegri.
During final minutes of the regular time Ac Milan let feel to be able to reach the final, but ninety minutes whistle decreed extra time.
Juve come back to the pitch for the added minutes, and Ac Milan didn’t. After a Bianconeri monologue, Vucinic scored that kind of goal (mix of precision, coldness and luck) that you can score just a couple of time in your soccer career and then Milan tried to change the verdict, but a well organized Juventus stopped all their attempts.

At the end of the game Emanuelson, Inzaghi and Nocereino thanks supporters in Turin for the match.

Below there is the video of the goals.
You can find the review and highlights of the first leg here.

After the match Alessandro del Piero and Clarence Seedorf exchanged their number 10 jerseys.
SAY NO TO RACISM!

Ac Milan rebirth?

February, 11 2012 Serie A 23rd matchday.

Udinese 1-2 Ac Milan

19’ Di Natale
77’ Maxi Lopez
85’ El Shaarawy

El Shaarawy and Maxi Lopez scored a goal each one and brought Ac Milan to the provisional top of the table. (Juventus have still two matches to play, postponed due to bad weather.)

Has Allegri been right?
I criticized him during the whole duration of the match, but this evening he guessed the substitutions.
El Shaarawy closed the game thanks to an assist by la galina de oro just ten minutes after the goal of the newcomer himself.

According to that game, do Ac Milan prove -finally- not to be Ibracentric game addicted?

In this head to head game a victory would have been essential, and that arrived.
Allegi said:

Usually clubs win championships against littler teams, not versus bigger ones.
That statement is to justify the lack of victories against main title contenders for sure, but usually, when most important opponets are defeated, that means a big injection of confidence: Is it a case that Ac Milan problems has started after derby defeat?

A really tough period are expected: Arsenal, Cesena and finally Juventus.
Rossoneri must show what that tricolore badge on the chest means!
