March, 31 2012 - 30th SerieA matchday:
54’ Spolli (C)
Robinho just after he netted the ball for the 1-0.
Catania is one of the Serie A teams really fit in that period: that was probably the wronger team to face -Inter aside, considering clubs we have still to meet- betweet two important and tiring Champions League matches against Barçelona.
Robinho’s second goal not allowed.
Looking at the previous picture, it’s clear that the ball complitely passed the line, the further post help us: you can see the whole one without interruption.
To be sure of what is written above, I replayed and stopped the player for about five minutes, the referee had not had this possibility. That’s another not allowed goal, but that is a really different situation if we think back to Muntari’s one against Juventus: yellow ball and white post, linesman perfectly on the trajectory etc.
We can accept referee’s verdict: in that case only technology could have helped.
The following tweets sumarize perfectly this match:
Come to think of it. This was an awesome match which Catania dominated. Yet Milan would have won with the ghost goal.
This 1-1 is not disappointing. Catania surely the most in form team of the league after top two.
And if remember Milan have been playing non stop every 3rd day since the Parma match.
It’s more a point earned than 2 points lost. And if this is a precursor to Tuesday, then so be it.
